Aurzen Boom 3 Projector - Out of nowhere this thing rocks!!!

Today I'm about to blow your mind with a game-changing device - the Aurzen Boom 3 projector. It's like a boombox speaker and a sci-fi gadget all rolled into one. Trust me; this one's a real game-changer.

Unboxing the Aurzen Boom 3

Let's start with what you get in the box. Opening it up, you'll find the projector itself, a sleek Bluetooth remote, an HDMI cable, AC power cable, a user manual, and contact/support information. They've got you covered from the get-go.

Specifications That Impress

Now, let's dive into the specs because this thing means business:

  • Native resolution of 1920 x 1080p.
  • A stunning brightness of 500 ANSI lumens.
  • Display sizes ranging from 45 inches at 4ft to a whopping 250 inches at 25ft.
  • Multiple aspect ratios, including 4x3 and 16x9.
  • Versatile mounting options - desktop, tripod, or ceiling.
  • LED light source coupled with an LCD display.
  • Impressive auto features - autofocus adjustment, auto Keystone, and auto 4D corner Keystone correction.
  • Get ready to be wowed by the premium Boom 3 speaker system, boasting 36W speakers with Dolby Audio and DPS technology.
  • It's got dual-band Wi-Fi and the latest Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.
  • Plus, it supports Wi-Fi screen mirroring for both Android and iOS devices.
  • Design that Stands Out

Taking a closer look at its design, this projector measures 8.85 inches in width, 8.46 inches in length, and stands at 6.69 inches tall. The front sports a glass-coated projector lens, an autofocus camera, an IR sensor, and of course, the Aurzen branding.

For connectivity, you'll find two HDMI inputs, two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack, the AC power socket, a rear-facing IR sensor, and an LED power button. There's even a magnetic panel for easy access to its premium speaker system.

Versatility in Setup

The Aurzen Boom 3 offers various setup options - from placing it on a desktop with its anti-skid rubber feet to mounting it on a tripod or a ceiling using the screw mounting hole. Versatility is the name of the game here.

Powerful Bluetooth Speaker

Now, here's where it gets exciting. The Boom 3 doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, and trust me, it makes a statement. It's not just a projector; it's a party starter. Picture this - friends over, game nights, and the Boom 3 rocking the sound. The only thing missing is some flashy RGB lighting.

Setting it up is a breeze. Find the 'Bluetooth music' app in the applications section, connect to the Aurzen PRJ device, and you're all set to groove to the powerful treble and bass.

Impressive Display and Features

Let's talk display quality and features. The Aurzen Boom 3 brings you Netflix and Prime Video in HD 1080p. It's not just a projector; it's your personal cinema. But there's more to it than meets the eye.

You get automated features like autofocus adjustment, auto Keystone, and auto 4D corner Keystone correction. It's all about delivering a hassle-free cinematic experience.

Streaming Made Easy

The Boom 3's firmware runs on Android, and it's loaded with streaming options. You'll find shortcuts to popular streaming applications like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and YouTube Kids right at your fingertips. And the best part? It's Netflix-certified, so you can enjoy your favorite shows in HD with Dolby Audio.

Casting and Connectivity

Screen mirroring and casting are a breeze. Just use the screen cast assistant option on the home screen, select your preferred casting method, and you're good to go. Plus, it comes with a built-in Chromecast for seamless streaming.

Audio That Packs a Punch

One of the standout features is the Dolby Atmos support. Connect your audio system through HDMI ARC, and you'll experience a whole new level of sound. It's not just about visuals; it's about the complete audio-visual experience.

Some Caveats

Now, let's address a few drawbacks. The autofocus may not always give you the perfect focus, and it doesn't support 4K videos internally. Connecting alternative Bluetooth remotes might not work seamlessly.

In Conclusion

In my book, the Aurzen Boom 3 is a fantastic projector with a unique twist. It offers real value, stunning visuals, and a powerful speaker system. While it has its quirks, it's an excellent choice for those seeking an affordable yet feature-packed projector.

Great Quality Without Breaking The Bank - XGODY X18 Android Phone

XGODY X18: A Budget Smartphone with Surprising Features

In today's fast-paced world, finding a budget-friendly mobile phone under $100 that doesn't compromise on style and performance can be quite a challenge. However, I'm here to introduce you to the XGODY X18, a budget-friendly smartphone that not only looks sleek but also delivers decent performance and features. In this blog post, I'll take you on a quick tour of the XGODY X18, discussing its design, operating system, and key features, helping you decide if it's the right choice for your needs.

Unboxing the XGODY X18

Upon unboxing the XGODY X18, you'll find a comprehensive set of accessories that include a screen protector, a transparent silicone case, a pin tool to access the SIM card compartment, a micro USB charging cable, a 5V 1A power adapter, and a user manual. These extras add value to your purchase, ensuring you have everything you need to get started.

Design and Build

The XGODY X18 comes in a sleek all-black design, but it's also available in vibrant purple and sky blue color options. It sports a 6.3-inch qHD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, providing a visually pleasing experience. Weighing approximately 8 ounces and measuring 9.9 mm in thickness, it feels substantial in hand, thanks in part to its 4000 mAh battery. All physical buttons are conveniently located on the right edge, while the left side houses the dual SIM card and memory card slot. You'll find the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the top edge and dual speakers, along with the micro-USB charging port, on the bottom. The back features a not-glossy Saturn soft-touch surface with an 8MP camera and flashlight.

System and Hardware Information

Now, let's dive into the technical details. The XGODY X18 is manufactured by Alps Mobile, known for its expertise in mobile CPUs and components. It's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset, ensuring respectable performance for a budget phone. The device I'm reviewing boasts 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, although there are also 2GB/32GB and 2GB/64GB versions available. With a CPU clock speed of 1.3GHz, this quad-core MediaTek MT6737A processor is 32-bit, meaning it supports 32-bit apps and games. The Mali T720 GPU with OpenGL version 3.1 ensures satisfactory graphics performance.

In terms of connectivity, the XGODY X18 supports 2G networks up to 9000 MHz, 3G up to B8, and 4G LTE up to B41. Its dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) connects well to various routers, even without Wi-Fi 6 compatibility. The phone runs on Android 10, and it's not rooted, offering a stable and familiar mobile experience.

Performance Evaluation

To assess the XGODY X18's performance, I ran the Antutu benchmark, which yielded a score of 48,076. While it may not compete with high-end models, this score reflects decent performance for everyday tasks and light gaming.

Key Considerations

Now, let's discuss some important factors to consider when evaluating a budget smartphone like the XGODY X18:

Speed and Responsiveness: The XGODY X18 pleasantly surprised me with its responsiveness. It's not on par with flagship phones, but it performs better than expected for its price range.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity: While its Wi-Fi speeds may not be top-tier, it handles streaming tasks without any hiccups. Bluetooth connectivity is stable and responsive, making it suitable for various wireless accessories.

Audio Quality: Equipped with dual speakers, the XGODY X18 offers loud and clear audio, making it suitable for multimedia consumption and gaming.

Camera Performance: The 5MP front and 8MP rear cameras are serviceable for daylight photography but lack advanced features like night mode and exposure settings.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the XGODY X18 is a budget-friendly smartphone that strikes a balance between affordability and functionality. While it doesn't compete with flagship models in terms of performance or camera quality, it offers a satisfactory user experience for everyday tasks and entertainment. If you're in the market for an inexpensive yet reliable smartphone that won't break the bank, the XGODY X18 is worth considering.

Still one of the best projector brands to buy - Nexigo PJ40 1080p Projector

Hey there, it's Nick from TV Box Stop, and I'm back with an exciting new review, this time featuring the Nexigo PJ40 HD 1080p projector. If you've been following my channel, you might remember the PJ20, one of my all-time favorites with auto lens focusing. It's been my reference model for nearly two years. Today, we'll dive into the PJ40 and see if it can outshine the PJ20.

The Nexigo PJ40 boasts a native resolution of 1080p, a brighter display with 700 ANSI lumens (their brightest yet), and it's designed to impress with minimal fan noise and compatibility with various streaming devices.

Let's kick things off with the specifications:

  • Native Resolution: 1080p
  • Brightness: 700 ANSI lumens
  • Aspect Ratio: 4:3 and 16:9
  • Display Size: 50 inches to 300 inches
  • Light Source: LED
  • Display Type: LCD
  • Manual Focus Adjustment
  • Auto Vertical Keystone Correction
  • Manual Horizontal Keystone Correction
  • Power Consumption: 160W
  • 4K Local Video Playback
  • Bluetooth 5.1
  • Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 AX
  • Dual 20W Internal Speakers

Inside the box, you'll find:

  • PJ40 projector
  • Infrared remote control
  • AC power cable
  • AAA batteries
  • Auxiliary cable
  • Spare dust filter
  • Lint-free cleaning cloth
  • User manual

The PJ40 belongs to the full-size projector category and measures 11.3” x 10.7” x 4.8”. Its glossy front surface features a front-facing IR sensor, the Nexigo branding, and a 3-inch glass-coated projector lens. On the left, there's a removable dust filter and an internal speaker, while the right side houses an exhaust vent and another internal speaker. The I/O ports include two HDMI inputs, two USB 2.0 ports, an ethernet LAN port, a headphone jack, an auxiliary port, a rear-facing IR sensor, the AC power socket, and the intake vent for the internal cooling fan. Top-mounted manual press buttons and a sliding cover protect the focus adjustment lever. The base features screw-type anti-skid rubber feet and a screw-type kickstand, a welcome change from sticky rubber feet.

I set up the PJ40 on a projector stand, projecting onto a 76-inch DIY projector screen with anti-light high contrast 1.1 reflective gain fabric, enhancing display quality by over 50% in well-lit rooms. You can find this fabric for as low as $12 on Aliexpress or around $53 on Amazon. The display quality is phenomenal.

Boot-up takes about 25 seconds, and right out of the box, the PJ40's display is outstanding, with noticeably brighter lumens and sharp edges compared to the PJ20.

The main menu includes shortcuts to source inputs, a file manager, Bluetooth settings, DLNA mobile file sharing, an office suite for reading documents, Miracast for screen mirroring, and various settings. Notably, there's a fan speed adjustment, a unique feature, and HDMI EDID support for seamless resolution compatibility with external devices.

The included infrared remote works well, but you can connect a wireless air mouse for more convenience. The PJ40 can handle 4K and 1080p videos but struggles with AV1, Dolby Atmos, and DTS audio formats.

It excels in compatibility with Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV devices, offering video with audio. The HDMI CEC option works seamlessly for power synchronization. Screen mirroring with Miracast and iOS Cast is straightforward.

For looping images at events, the PJ40 provides a simple image player, but it lacks transition effects.

Gaming on this projector is a joy, with excellent display quality and minimal latency when connected to a PC.

You can enhance the audio experience by connecting Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or AV receivers using Bluetooth 5.1, with the projector even doubling as a Bluetooth speaker.

Finally, the noise level at varying fan speeds is impressive, making this one of the quietest projectors I've encountered.

In conclusion, the Nexigo PJ40 is a solid choice for a premium projector with exceptional display quality and brightness. It's compatible with a range of devices, offers flexibility in audio output, and is remarkably quiet. If you're considering this projector, check out the Amazon link in the description for an affordable price and a $30 coupon. Must see the power of ACEMAGICIAN AD15 NUC mini PC (2023)

Today I'm excited to bring you the latest scoop on the Ace Magician AD15 NUC mini PC. This sleek and stylish model falls right into the sweet spot of the $350 price range. With a 12th-generation Intel Core i5 CPU clocking up to 4.4 GHz, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a generous 512GB SSD storage, this little powerhouse is ready to impress. And that's not all; it boasts Wi-Fi 6 technology, Bluetooth 5.2, and a handy SATA SSD expandable storage option.

In this review, we'll dive deep into the capabilities of the Ace Magician AD15 as a high-performance NUC mini PC. I'll test its mettle in activities like video editing, Windows gaming, and retro gaming. Plus, we'll explore its 4K HDR HLG video performance, surround sound audio output, and even venture into the world of alternative operating systems like Android x86 and Chrome OS brunch framework. So, let's get started!

Unboxing the Ace Magician AD15

Before we jump into the nitty-gritty, let's see what's inside the box. When you open the package, you'll find:

One HDMI cable
A 19V 6.3A 119W DC power supply
The AC power cable
And a user manual to help you get started.
A Closer Look at the AD15
The Ace Magician AD15 sports a sleek, all-plastic design, standing tall and proud. On the front, you'll spot two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C display port, and a headphone jack. The rear is home to two HDMI 2.1 ports, more USB 3.0 ports, a gigabit LAN port, a reset button, the DC power input socket, a Kensington lock, and an exhaust vent. The base features anti-skid rubber feet, ample ventilation holes, and two screws for easy access to the SATA expandable storage and internal components.

Under the Hood

Now that we've got the basics covered, let's dive into the hardware. After booting into Windows 11 Pro and logging in, here's what we're working with:

An octa-core Intel Core i5 12450H CPU, boasting 8 cores and 12 threads
16GB of DDR4 RAM
Intel UHD graphics for 12th generation processors
A speedy M.2 SSD
Realtek 8821CE Wi-Fi 6 adapter with Bluetooth 5.2
Impressive Display Capabilities
Connect this mini PC to a 4K display, and you'll enjoy crisp 4K at 2160p@60Hz with HDR. You can even play around with screen orientation, including portrait mode. Its dual HDMI 2.1 ports, contrary to the product page's info, support three-way duplicated or extended displays. You can even add a fourth wirelessly via a TV or projector. For touchscreens, a single USB Type-C cable will power it up.

Immersive Audio Experience

When hooked up to a surround sound AV receiver via HDMI passthrough, you'll be treated to 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound audio, including DTS and Dolby Atmos formats. However, for DTS-X, you'll need to grab DTS Sound Unbound from the Microsoft Store. This mini PC is truly a Dolby Atmos powerhouse.

Streaming and Gaming

The AD15 is perfect for streaming on platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video in 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos. A wireless air mouse remote control or a mini touchpad keyboard is all you need to complete your setup. YouTube also shines with up to 4K at 2160p.

However, when it comes to Windows gaming, the Intel UHD graphics perform decently on less demanding titles. On games like "Call of Duty: Warfare" and "Destiny 2," it struggles, averaging around 20-30 fps. But don't worry, its real gaming strength lies in PS2 emulation gaming, where it excels.

Benchmarks and Rankings

In various performance benchmarks, the AD15 shows its prowess. It ranks at position number four on the mini PC ranking chart. With a RAM copy speed of 10,907 MB/s and an SSD with sequential read and write speeds, it impresses. In network tests, the 5 GHz band and LAN port shine, while the 2.4 GHz band struggles.

Alternative Operating Systems

While the AD15 shines in many aspects, installing alternative operating systems proved challenging. Android x86 lacks support for the 12th-gen Intel chipsets, causing installation issues. FydeOS and Chrome OS brunch framework also hit roadblocks during installation.

In Conclusion

The Ace Magician AD15 is a versatile high-performance mini PC that handles everyday Windows tasks with ease. Its clock speed of up to 4.4 GHz, expandable storage, and sleek design make it a great addition to your home, office, or educational space. While it may not be the ideal choice for demanding Windows gaming, it excels in PS2 emulation gaming.

If you're in the market for a reliable mini PC, the Ace Magician AD15 is currently available on Amazon with a $20 on-page coupon. Check out the link in the description to snag this fantastic device.
